‍British squad primed to build on 2023 third-place finish

Veloce Racing is thrilled to be continuing with its formidable driver line-up for the upcoming Extreme E season. After an exceptional campaign in 2023, which secured third in the championship, the team is geared up to ride its momentum with the same talented drivers behind the wheel.

The dynamic duo of Kevin Hansen and Molly Taylor will once again spearhead the British squad’s pursuit of a maiden Extreme E title, with the pair venturing to next month’s Desert X Prix in Saudi Arabia (February 17-18) with high expectations.

Veloce Racing’s decision to retain both drivers underscores the team's strong ambitions for 2024. Building upon the stellar performances of last year, which saw the outfit finish level on most wins for the season with three X Prix victories, 2024 looks promising for the London-based squad as they pursue the championship trophy.

Kevin Hansen, Veloce Racing, said: “I’m really excited to be heading into my second season of Extreme E with Veloce Racing, and we’re all fully focussed on picking up where we left off in Chile last year.

“We showed so much promise throughout the season, but taking our third win of the year in Chile with such a dominant performance is just the momentum we need. Third in Season 3 is something to be proud of for sure, but we’ll settle for nothing less than the Season 4 title.

“Molly and I have cemented ourselves as consistent podium finishers. We developed a really strong partnership last year, but we can always be better, so I'm looking forward to improving even more together this season.”

Molly Taylor, Veloce Racing, said: “For Veloce Racing to take the equal highest number of race wins and finish third in our first full season together with Kevin and I was a fantastic achievement, but of course we’re hungry for the championship.

"Preparations have been in full swing since the moment we finished in Chile, and everyone in the team is working hard to take all that we learnt from Season 3 to ensure the best possible results in Season 4.

"Kevin and I will continue to push each other to be our best, and will be doing all we can to get Veloce Racing its first title in Extreme E."

Daniel Bailey, CEO and Co-Founder of Veloce Racing, added: "Last season was our best yet for Veloce Racing, and we’ll be looking to build on third place in the championship as we kick start our fourth season in Extreme E.

"Molly and Kevin have already built a great working relationship, both as a pair and with the rest of the team, and we’re looking forward to another season together where we can push ourselves even further.

"The opening race of the season next month marks an opportunity for us to start the year as we mean to go on, and all of us here at Veloce Racing will be hunting down that first win.”

Extreme E Season 4 promises to be the best yet, re-visiting fan favourite locations Saudi Arabia and Sardinia, alongside an all-new finale in Phoenix, USA. As Veloce Racing embarks on another thrilling season, fans can expect amazing teamwork between Hansen and Taylor as they fight for the 2024 title.
