VELOCE MEDIA GROUP SET TO RACE IN 2026 FIA EXTREME H WORLD CUP

Veloce Media Group has confirmed its participation in the second edition of the FIA Extreme H World Cup, taking place in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia later this year (October 29-31).

Extreme H represents the next evolution of off-road electric racing, becoming the world's first and only hydrogen-powered motorsport. Returning to its flagship venue at Qiddiya City, the pioneering FIA World Cup will harness cutting-edge fuel cell technology, and Veloce aims to showcase the full potential of hydrogen in a world-class competitive racing environment.

E.ON Next Veloce Racing competed in Extreme H's predecessor, Extreme E, from the championship's inaugural season in 2021 through to its conclusion in 2024. During that time, the team established itself as one of the leading forces on the grid, securing five race victories and nine podium finishes.

Veloce’s success culminated in a dominant final campaign, in which the British squad won half of the final season's races and topped the standings following consecutive victories at the Hydro X Prix in Scotland, underlining its credentials as one of the benchmark teams of the series.

The FIA Extreme H World Cup presents Veloce with an exciting opportunity to build on the success and experience gained in Extreme E while continuing to champion innovation, sustainability and gender equality. These shared values remain central to each organisation, making Extreme H a natural next step in Veloce’s motorsport journey as both parties look to accelerate the development and adoption of hydrogen as a zero-emission energy solution.

Daniel Bailey, CEO of Veloce Media Group, said: "Extreme E gave us the opportunity to demonstrate that high-performance motorsport can also be a powerful platform for driving awareness around sustainability. Over four seasons, we're incredibly proud of what the team achieved both on and off the track, from securing race wins and podiums to supporting initiatives that created a lasting positive impact in the communities we visited.

"Now, the FIA Extreme H World Cup represents the next step. Hydrogen has the potential to play a significant role in the future of sustainable mobility, and we're excited by the prospect of competing at the forefront of that innovation. At Veloce, we're passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology while remaining committed to building a more sustainable future, so we're looking forward to helping write the next chapter of off-road racing."

Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme H said : “We’re delighted to welcome Veloce Media Group back to Extreme H. Since joining, Veloce have been a force to be reckoned with, delivering impressive performances throughout their involvement and cementing themselves as one of the series’ leading teams. Their return will undoubtedly dial up the intensity of this year’s racing, creating even more action for fans to enjoy across three thrilling days of competition.

“Beyond the racing, Veloce share our ambition to push boundaries. Together, we’re committed to pioneering a new wave of innovation and entertainment, combining world-class competition with engaging storytelling to continue evolving what fans can expect from Extreme H. We’re excited to see the team back on the grid and look forward to what we’ll achieve together this season.”

As an industry leader in digital media, Veloce will look to leverage its global creator network and highly engaged fanbase to amplify the reach and impact of Extreme H. With over 500 million monthly views and a rapidly growing audience across gaming, motorsport and lifestyle sectors, Veloce is uniquely positioned to drive awareness, engagement and cultural relevance for hydrogen-powered racing on a large scale.

Veloce now turns its attention to unlocking Extreme H’s potential for real-world application within the automotive and energy sectors, supporting the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future.
